For the past 25 years, Central Valley Health Network (CVHN) has been privileged to work alongside health centers in the Central Valley, Sacramento, and Northern California regions to support their collective work in providing high quality and equitable access to care for the communities they serve. In 2023 we reached a milestone of 16 community health center organizations who have joined. CVHN is a regional membership association of federally qualified health centers. Our 16 members serve almost 1,000,000 patients at over 275 clinical sites. Collectively our members have had over 3.9 million patient visits in the past year. As a network they are recognized as the largest provider of health care services to farmworker communities throughout the United States.
Each day we team up with our members to raise their voices to the highest levels of federal and state legislative and regulatory bodies. In this manner we ensure that the issues and concerns affecting our health centers and their local communities are heard directly from the people serving in these communities—our members.
We have watched our members grow from the status of ‘safety net provider’ to becoming innovative, vital health care delivery systems within their respective regions. It is our honor to partner with them and provide advocacy and programmatic support in their quests to ensure that health equity and healthcare as a right become more than a vision, but a reality.
