Mission: To advocate for community health centers’ strength in the marketplace and to support members’ effective delivery of high quality and accessible health care.

Incorporated in 1998, Central Valley Health Network is comprised of a growing number of Community Health Center corporations, currently with more than 275 clinical sites. Each center is a designated Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). CVHN was established to conduct advocacy at national, state, and local levels on behalf of its Central Valley membership of FQHC’s and their unique patient population specific to the Valley. CVHN members are located in, and serving, high-need California communities in, they provide comprehensive primary health care services to low-income and medically underserved families. FQHCs serve people of all ages, people without and with health insurance, and people of all races and ethnicities. CVHN’s network is also recognized nationally as one of the largest networks of Migrant Health Centers serving rural, agricultural worker populations and their families.

CVHN is a champion for FQHC members to achieve objectives and initiatives that increase their strength in the community and to support the effective delivery of high-quality, accessible health care throughout the Central Valley. Collaborating with our membership on government policies at the local, state, and federal level, CVHN works to improve access to care for low-income individuals and families.

CVHN is among the largest networks of FQHCs in the United States. We work closely with our partners at the National Association of Community Health Centers and the California Primary Care Association to ensure member centers are supported as a vital part of the health care system. CVHN also partners with key stakeholders throughout the state to ensure that medically underserved families receive the care and services they need.
